Florafauna Ltd. is the design and printmaking discipline of Paul Gardner. His work spans more than a decade, creating limited edition concert posters for musicians he loves. Every poster is screen printed by hand, a process that is demanding and tactile. The layers of color overlap and infuse one another in minutely different ways from one print to the next revealing a convergence of art and design that's somehow both incidental and intentional. The result is an artifact that represents an authentic visual extension of the music. Each print run produces a limited number of posters. The price of any given poster or art print is driven by supply and demand. And once they're gone, they're gone. Paul calls it the equilibrium of posternomics.
